Dr. Katzen divides patient’s buttocks into four categories depending on the ratio of excess fat to excess skin. Type 1 buttocks, for example, have excess fat but no excess skin. Type 2 buttocks have a lot of excess skin and a small amount of excess fat. Type 3 buttocks have both excess fat and skin. Type 4 buttocks have excess skin and too little fat. As you can imagine, the techniques used during your butt enhancement procedure will depend on a number of factors, including your goals, as well as the type of buttocks that you have.
